After the huge success of the "Pateando Bolardos" tour last May throughout the Southern Cone and Europe, Los Pirañas return to Chilean lands for a brief but sustained string of gigs full of psychedelic and tropical bustle. The tour begins next Friday, September 14 in the city of Concepción, where the trinity of Galeano, Álvarez and Ojeda will offer all the attendees a pleasant time full of flavor and frenzied dancing.
Right after the Concepción show, the power trio returns to Santiago to be part of the select family of showcases that will shape the 2018 edition of traditional meeting/market IMESUR, which on this occasion will feature Colombia as a protagonist. Los Pirañas’ show will be held on Saturday 15, in the vicinity of Club Chocolate. Throughout the night, Mariel Mariel's latin flow will also parade through stage, as well as the particular fusion of rock and Arabic sounds created by Santiago-based outfit Apokálipo. Meanwhile, during IMESUR, an important group of emerging artists from the Chilean and Colombian scenes such as Ernesto Holman Trío, La Brígida Orquesta, Bombo Negro and Negra, will also be showcasing their projects.
